Kaufman Container recently added a squeezable powder round to its library of over 100 exclusive Kaufman-owned molds. With an increased demand in powder applications and new dispensing technologies, the company created a custom four fluid ounce (approximately 2.4 ounces of powder) MDPE Round with a 31mm special neck finish to accompany powder and sprayer closures. In particular, this new bottle works well with a Roto Powder dispensing cap, which simply twists open and with a squeeze of the bottle allows powder to be dispensed. The bottle-closure combination allows for ease of use, more directional dispensing of product and also frees up the user’s hands during application. The MDPE material was chosen for maximum squeezability. This bottle is stock available in white, with custom colorization available upon request.

The bottle size for this new mold was determined based on industry demand and is ideal for numerous applications, including personal care markets. Product lines that could benefit from this type of bottle-closure combination include baby powders, dry shampoos, foot powders and much more. The simple shape allows for decorating applications such as screen printing, hot stamping, and shrink or pressure sensitive labeling (also available through Kaufman Container’s own in-house Special Services Decorating Division). The top of the closure can also be decorated for brand recognition or application instructions.
